Your specialty will be as a nurse practitioner in a particular area, a clinical specialist in a particular area, informatics specialist or a nurse administrator. The purpose of this assignment is to have you find research articles that examine the value of using HIT tools in your practice. You are required to find two research articles (within the last five years) that will provide support for your final outcome assessment in this module (position statement). Consider this your preliminary research to write your position statement.

For each article: Read the article, provide a quick overview of the article’s relevance and highlights the value (benefits, positive impact) of the tools in your future practice.
