However, a liberal arts degree is not regarded as a smart investment. This is a misconception as degrees in liberal arts offer a well-rounded education, which is not offered in any other field. Liberal arts degrees focus on inculcating students with tangible skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and public speaking, tools that are indispensable in the real world. While other fields of study focus on teaching students one specific skill, a liberal arts degree ensures that students become educated in a wide range of disciplines.
