You will need to summarise the key issues in the assessment topic, in your own words, and critically comment on the theoretical aspects of the topic. This is an individual assessment task. You will select a case study of an airline operator in Australia based on information collected from corporate press releases, press articles and/or other material available online. Examples of possible companies that may be analysed in the Australian context include Australias major airlines, such as Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Tiger Australia. The case study is to be no more than one year old and should have as its focus an organisation, not a single member of the staff of that organisation (such as the Chief Executive Officer and the impact the individual has on the organisation) nor should it deal with an industry). To choose a case study of either an individual or and industry analysis will probably provide insufficient information about the organisation itself to enable adequate analysis to be undertaken.
