According to the researches the trends in the flow of remittance has significantly changed over a number of years since begin of the recession. Various households in different developing countries who significantly relied on the remittance suffered severely by the economic meltdown in the United States and the trend is yet to show positive signs. Countries such as Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic suffered to greater extent by the recession in the US.
